Food was yummy and Tasty.. All the food items we have ordered are not only tasty but also they have maintained quality and freshness.. This is my first time trying kale sweet potato wrap.. Didn’t except that to be good.. I would definitely recommend that. I would definitely recommend to try all the four dishes..

Best place for vegan and proper vegetarian meal. Had avocado toast, acai bowl, Tuscan kale wrap, and chocolate pudding. Me and my sister loved it and we really enjoyed the meal. Thanks for making our lunch yummy.

Super cute place and great food. I am gluten and dairy free which makes finding options difficult sometimes. I feel like I had no issue finding anything on this menu. The waffles were amazing. The people that work there were very nice. They had many bakery treats and a wide variety of drinks.

We just happened to find this spot. Waffle was 10 out of 10. Crisp on outside while soft and moist on the inside. The fruit was sweet and tasty which gave a great balance to the waffle. The acai bowl had just enough fruit and you can taste the freshness. The smoothie was refreshing. Definitely recommend if in the area.

FRUITIVE, is an organic, vegan, mostly take-a-way eatery. Fruitive opened it's door in 2012, when Gregg Rozeboom "created a place where his family could come and enjoy a healthy meal." Gregg's tiny eatery projects a British library feel. On your left, library stacks fill the wall. Vegan treats are displayed across the center of the room. The order counter is ahead, on the far right. The "librarian," cashier, and hostess, Catherine, is friendly and knowledgeable. Catherine suggested the spicy Tuscan Kale Wrap, an over-sized, whole wheat tortilla that's stuffed with minced, organic vegetables. (butternut squash, sweet potatoes, broccoli, quinoa, garbanzo beans, caramelized onions, basil pesto mayo, hummus, black and cayenne pepper). The wrap is lightly toasted before serving. There is a large selection of vegan drinks. My choice is freshly brewed, lemon-ginger tea. The combination is quite filling and delicious. Fruitive is a compact cafe. Inside, seating at a couple of tables, and on stools, at a narrow, bar height counter, that hugs the street and patio windows. Outside, are a half dozen, or so, wheelchair accessible tables. Washroom use requires a code. This is a unique, wonderful, vegan, gluten free eatery. If you're in DC, don't miss it. UPDATE: As my home is on the West Coast visiting DC is not a frequent event. So my first breakfast was at Fruitive. I ordered the Cinnamon Apple Waffle which contains apples, candied, finely chopped almonds, whipped coconut cream, cinnamon, and pure maple syrup. Chef Anna cooks the waffle until the edge is crisp and the center is tender. Deliciously sweet. The whipped coconut cream is a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.

I visited the DC location on Friday, 28 Feb and ordered the waffle sampler - tried all three combinations - it was super yummy! The owner, Gregg, was extremely pleasant and accommodating! I’d ordered a to-go meal for my boyfriend, but plans changed, so I asked Gregg if they would not make my order because I wanted to bring my boyfriend back to checkout the place! Left, came back, and changed my original to-go order to the Tuscan Kale wrap: So Good! It was just as pictures, large, and incredibly yummy, too! Oh, and I had the Berry Immune; it did come with a tolerable kick! The store & tables were clean aside from a few napkins leftover on the table I chose to sit at; bathroom was clean as well. Overall, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! I will be a returning customer!!!!

I really enjoyed the bbq jackfruit sandwich. The coleslaw and the sauce were a surprisingly nice touch. It actually didn’t taste as barbecuey as I expected but it was still great. The gentleman at the register was also very polite and had a very calm presence, which I appreciated. Oh and I loved the nobility juice! I may be getting the name wrong, but it was something along those lines

Good selection of gluten free and vegan food. I had the almond chocolate banana gluten free waffle, which was delicious. Also good was the broccoli cheddar soup of the day and gluten free waffle with berries.
